Job shadow: 🌍✈️ Members of Life Learning Development e.V. recently took part in a Job Shadowing experience in Sassari, Italy, hosted by Mine Vaganti International from April 9–20, 2025. This enriching program focused on strengthening soft skills through hands-on workshops and experiential learning—empowering our team with new tools to support our mission even more effectively! 💡🤝 #LifeLearning #EUErasmusPlus #SoftSkills #JobShadowing #LLDAbroad #InternationalCooperation. Course Training: Starting from 24.05.2025 to 29.05.2025, LLD staff participated in a Training course under the Erasmus+ Short-term projects for mobility of learners and staff in adult education (KA122-ADU) in Serres Greece hosted by ComputerGr. The goal is to familiarise the participants with Digital Tools essential software and platforms used in website design and management. We visited Roboland, which provides an immersive, hands-on experience where participants explore arcade game development, 3D printing, LEGO robotics, and operational games, enhancing their technical and creative skills. During the visit, trainees engage in workshops designing and programming arcade-style games, such as reaction-based challenges inspired by LEGO, which draws artistic patterns autonomously.

Sassari, Italy & Serres, Greece Experience
“Participating in both the Job Shadowing in Italy and the Digital Tools Training in Greece was incredibly enriching. In Sassari, I learned how to better foster soft skills in adult learners through interactive workshops. Then, in Serres, I expanded my digital competencies especially in web design and robotics. Visiting Roboland was a highlight, it was like entering the future of adult learning! These experiences equipped me with both practical tools and inspiration to bring innovation into our programs.”

Creativity Meets Technology
“The Erasmus+ experience was a game-changer for me. In Sassari, I saw how experiential learning can truly elevate soft skills development. Then in Serres, I dove into the digital world, learning how to design websites and even program arcade-style games with LEGO robotics. Roboland was a blast and taught me how to blend fun with learning. I’m already applying these insights in our workshops!”

From Digital Tools to Hands-On Arcade creativity games
“The Job Shadowing program in Italy was an excellent opportunity to exchange best practices and build connections with international educators. It deepened my understanding of how soft skills can be nurtured in non-formal education. I was especially drawn to the training in Serres where we explored technical tools like web design software, 3D printing, and robotics. Roboland was a tech playground! Designing reaction-based games using LEGO was both fun and intellectually stimulating. Meanwhile, the Job Shadowing in Sassari sharpened my people skills—balancing my tech focus with improved communication and teamwork.”

A Dual Boost in Skills
“These two experiences were perfectly complementary: Greece gave me confidence in using digital tools and leading creative technology sessions. I especially appreciated the interactive structure no lectures, just action! I returned with a renewed passion and plenty of new strategies to support adult learners in our community.”
